Nothing too complicated about this make-up bag. It's made of waterproof plastic-y material, textured on the outside and smooth inside, It arrived in a transparent plastic wrapper, so not really suitable for giving as a gift without some wrapping-up.

My wife's take on this was that, although it would make a good make-up bag, it is quite versatile and you could use it to take toothbrush etc. on a short overnight trip or holiday. Being waterproof it should keep any water away from your clothes in the suitcase or bag.

Difficult to comment on the value for money, as the price has temporarily disappeared from the product page. if this is around, or under, a fiver, it would be OK.

If I am being 100% honest I just assumed this is a black make up/travel bag what is there to say about it. Surprisingly after a couple of weeks I realised there were actually things to point out. First of all this has a flat base but its soft and flexible but this means it stands up nicely when things are in the bag, and lays completely flat when not being used. In addition this material is pretty durable and so far I have dropped makeup on it twice and both times it wiped off very easily leaving no stains. This shows its a pretty durable material. The zip is sturdy and I have to say overall it may just look like a standard make up bag, but it's rooms, durable and actually very decent!

It was exactly what I needed! A compact, practical, easy to clean, resistant, durable bag, good size and great value for money.

I highly recommend it.
